FIGURE SKATING BRIDGE PROGRAM 

 

SEMESTER THREE STARTS MARCH 5TH

 The City Ice Pavilion Bridge Program has been designed for motivated skaters wanting to advance their skills in a faster paced group lesson environment. The Bridge Program will enable skaters to easily transition themselves from recreational skills into figure skating programs. 

The program consists of a 45-minute on-ice class and 30-minute off-ice class each week.

 

On-ice classes focus on three primary components of skating:


Power skating and moves in the field
Technical elements
Artistry and choreography & style
Off-ice classes include: Strength and conditioningJump techniqueBallet & choreography 

 Bridge- Low


Friday
Off-ice Class 4:00 pm
On-ice Class 4:45 pm

 

  Saturday
Off-ice Class 9:45 am
On-ice Class 10:30 am

 

  Bridge- High

Saturday
Off-ice Class 9:45 am
On-ice Class 10:30 am
 

 Bridge- Freestyle

Sunday
   Off-ice Class 9:45 am
      On-ice Class 10:30 am   

*To ensure appropriate class placement, the Director must evaluate all skaters wanting to enroll in the Bridge Program before the start of the semester. Please contact Elise Gallagher to schedule an evaluation.   

Bridge Program Includes:

  • 45 minutes of on-ice instruction each week
  • 30 minutes of off-ice instruction each week
  • Free admission to the public session on the day of your class
  • U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Membership

    Cost for eight-week semester: $330
