City Ice Pavilion’s Skating School will help you to achieve all your skating goals!

Whether your goal is to become a competitive figure skater, hockey player or just enjoy the recreational benefits of skating, we have the perfect class for you or your child!

Our experienced staff of professional coaches will enable skaters of all ages and abilities to learn all the fundamental skills in a fun, challenging and rewarding atmosphere. Our Skating School follows the Basic Skills Curriculum designed by US Figure Skating, the governing body for figure skating in the United States.

Classes meet weekly and the fee includes your skate rental and passes to practice on any Public Session during the semester.

Class lesson once a week for 8 weeks: 30 minute lesson

Cost is $200.00: Payable at the beginning of each semester.

Registration: $15.00 per year. Annual USFSA Basic Skills registration fee. This qualifies you for testing, shows and competitions and includes Basic Skills membership material.

Skates: Rental skates are included

-

Helmets: Are optional, but highly recommended for tots and beginners. They are available for free with your skate rental.

Free Public Session: On the day of class.

Level Evaluation: During the first two weeks of class out professional staff will evaluate skaters based on age and ability to ensure they are in the correct class.

Clothing: Warm, layered, comfortable clothing (sweaters & sweatshirts are preferable to bulky jackets) and gloves.

Certificates: Certificates of achievement are presented to each student at the end of the semester.
