City Ice Pavilion is a world-class skating facility with an NHL-size ice rink that’s open year-round for open skating sessions. The Queens facility offers public and private learn-to-skate classes, as well as hockey for tots, youths and adults. Birthday parties and special-events-planning opportunities are also available.
Skating School
We have Learn to Skate classes for children ages 4-14, Snowplow 1 through Free Skate 6. Skate with your little ones in Parent and Me. Adult classes too! Check it out here and Click here to register! NY Islanders Learn to Play
Learn to Play is a program that provides a unique opportunity for families to join the hockey community and for participants to develop fundamental skills to help them succeed both on and off the ice. Created jointly by the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and the National Hockey League (NHL). Learn to Play’s goal is to inspire youth and welcome more families into the hockey community.
